Amidst the ever-changing landscape, where COVID-19 remains persistent, grasping the significance of health equity and its impact on individuals with developmental disabilities is crucial in fostering an inclusive healthcare and community system.

This no-cost, solutions-focused training will review:
  • What Health Equity is and how it intersects with people with DD;
  • Understanding the rights of people with DD in healthcare and community settings;
  • Discussing the Support Continuum and decision makers such as Natural Supports, Formal, and Civil relationships;
  • Exploring Escalation Resources; and
  • COVID19 – where are we now?
